Alfalfa House Annual General Meeting 2011

The meeting this year was held at the Addison Road main office. We had a great evening with a decent turnout.

Alfalfa House Community Food Cooperative will be holding its Annual General Meeting Tuesday November 15^th.

What: Alfalfa House General Meeting

All alfalfa House members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

• Members can put forward motions Until October 18^th 2011-10-11

            Motions can be made by-

• Members can also nominate and raise their hands to become part of the Alfalfa House Management Committee at this point as well.

• Management committee members are the managing directors of the cooperative. The Alfalfa House Management Committee is solely volunteer based and no remuneration is given. Members of the management committee are expected to attend 1 monthly meeting held on the fourth Tuesday of each month in Enmore. Management committee member also make decisions via email throughout the month.

Management Committee Nominations:

A nomination must:

i) be signed by two (2) or more members; 

ii) provide details of the qualifications and experience of the person

nominated; and

iii) be accompanied by a notice in writing signed by the nominee consenting to

their nomination.

e) The nomination and the notice of consent must be lodged with the secretary of

the co-operative at least 30 days before the annual general meeting.
