Reverse Garbage is a not-for-profit co-op that sells industrial discards, off-cuts and over-runs to the public for creative and practical uses, reducing the amount of waste going to landfill.

The Bower, Marrickville, NSW
The Bower is a not-for-profit co-op that collects – and sometimes repairs – and resells goods diverted from the Sydney metropolitan municipal waste stream, whilst educating the community about waste reduction.

Muso Much of the stock in the Macrobiotic section of the co-op originates from Muso in Japan. This site contains information on the quality as well as the methods and processes by which the various foods are prepared.

Maine Coast Sea Vegetables A number of our seaweeds hail from Maine Coast in the USA. The site includes how the seaweeds are harvested, a nutritional chart and recipes.

Biodynamic Agriculture Australia The BAA is a not-for-profit association that promotes the practice and understanding of biodynamic agriculture.

To help you get started The Watershed has regular hands-on seminars, where you can learn practical tips to live more sustainably, meet like-minded folk in your community and share low-cost solutions and alternatives. And they're free.

The Sustainable House Day is now in its seventh year and in that time there has been a significant increase in interest in the benefits of domestic energy efficiency. Householders now realise they can reduce their energy and water use, but are not always sure where to start. The good thing about the day is that thoe that have made the shift open their own homes to the public, showing how easy and economical the move to greener living can be.
