Turmeric was
traditionally called "Indian saffron" because of its deep
yellow-orange colour. It has been harvested in India for more than
5,000 years where it is commonly referred to haridra, haldar
or haldi. Although the plant grows in many tropical areas, the
majority of turmeric now grows in India.
Our expert Naturopath, Elaine Parry, takes us through her DETAILED TURMERIC GUIDE, discussing the plant's history and uses!
