Spring Cleaning is the theme for October here at the Alfalfa House. We'll be presenting a course each week including not only physical, but mental, and emotional spring cleaning! Follow the EVENTS CALENDAR for all of the upcoming events and for more info!
Light Globe Recycling can be a tricky situation. We've decided to help in your spring cleaning by taking your old light globes to the recycle center this month. Drop them off by Saturday October 8th and we'll take them for you!
The Annual Survey is finished. Thank you to all of you took the time to fill it out! Congrats to the 5 winners of the $20 vouchers. Check out the survey results HERE. Next month we'll have an in depth feature on the results!

Our farmer direct produce is one of the best parts of our co-op. In an attempt to bridge the gap between farmer and buyer, we'll be featuring one of the farms and farmers who's produce we stock.
Branch's Organics in Rollands Plains is one of our long time growers here at alfalfa. our fresh greens, and many of our beautiful farmer direct veggies come directly from Gary. Check our feature on Branch's Organics from a few years ago HERE

Rice may well be the most popular product at the co-op. A staple food for a majority of the worlds population. The ethics, politics, and sustainability of this crop are widely discussed. Alfalfa has been stocking RAIN FED rice for a while now. Find out more about our new Australian Rain Fed Rice HERE.
Tregeagle Coffee Grown right here in Australia is a directly sourced coffee that we've been carrying for years now. While Rice may be our highest selling product here at the co-op, coffee may be the most loved product in all of Sydney. Lynda (one of our favourite vollies and raw foods/natural living gurus) will be here doing a spring cleaning course Wednesday October 5th (tomorrow!) here at the CO-OP. From skin brushing, and tongue scraping to a general dietary detox, Lynda will kick off our spring cleaning month with an all encompassing course that is sure to set you on a good course! Essene Bread, that hunk of yummy grains we sell in the fridge here has an amazing story. On Saturday October 22nd at 6:30 PM Michelle will be here to show us how to make it. Space is limited so please RSVP asap. MORE INFO
Mental Detox on October 12th, Lee, a trained homeopath will be leading a course on mental health, and clarity. As We cleanse our bodies and physical spaces its also important to be mentally cleansed as well. Join us here at the CO-OP at 7:30. INFO
The Grand finale of our spring cleaning month will be Doctors Aushi Patell and Michelle Ever-Juan, biological dentists from Bio Compatible Dentistry Sydney will be discussing the mouth body connection, mercury fillings, root canal treatment, flouride and a whole host of other topics. This course is sure to fill up so please RSVP!
