Great community feel, delicious produce at affordable prices!
The staff are fantastic and they actually do seem to carry most that one might expect, at least if it’s available anywhere in the state.
They sell products from bulk bins (anything from grains, cereals, beans, oil, even shampoo) allowing you to pay by weight. You can BYO containers or use a recycled container provided. This is a great way to try new things without committing to buying a large quantity that may end up as food waste.
The Mushroom Crusades
The prices may be a little higher than the average supermarket, but your conscience will thank you for shopping here. All produce is organic and sustainable and they have a wide range on offer.
I’ve been shopping at Alfalfa House for years. The quality of produce is second to none. I’ve learned so much about the source of the produce through the great staff.
