Learn to Make Seitan – The Ultimate Plant-Based Protein
Seitan (or mock meat) is not a recent invention, but has been a part of Chinese cuisine for over a thousand years. In this workshop, participants will learn how to make their own mouth-watering seitan using the traditional washed flour method. They will also learn the techniques necessary to create their own unique recipes, experimenting with a range of flavours and textures.
Dr Adam Hochman is a senior lecturer in philosophy at Macquarie University. Adam has been vegan for over a decade, and enjoys making cruelty-free alternatives to meat and dairy products.
