Fruit & Veg


Most of our fruit and vegetables are organically grown with a seasonal focus, delivered fresh regularly throughout the week. See below for the stock delivery days. Some fruit and veg is farmer-direct, which means the co-op buys directly from the farmer.


Most of the produce is certified organic, however, some produce is uncertified but chemical-free. Products are labeled clearly so customers can make informed choices.

Farmer Direct

Alfalfa House has visited each of the farms from whom we buy directly and is satisfied that each uncertified farmer is farming organically.

Australian Grown

All fresh produce is grown in Australia unless otherwise stated on the price tag.
